The Children’s Academy is a Christ-centered preschool, Pre-K, and kindergarten located inside Tree City Church in Boise, Idaho. Our program blends strong academic preparation with faith-based values to help children grow spiritually, socially, emotionally, and academically. With small class sizes, caring teachers, and a safe, nurturing environment, we focus on developing the whole child while instilling a love of learning and a love for Jesus. Through engaging lessons, creative play, and meaningful relationships, we help young learners build the confidence and foundation they need for success in school and in life.

Our Preschool program introduces young learners to the joy of school through play-based discovery and early academic foundations. Students begin developing social skills, independence, and classroom routines while exploring early literacy, numbers, fine and gross motor development, and creative play. In a nurturing and Christ-centered environment, children are encouraged to build friendships, gain confidence, and begin understanding the values of kindness, respect, and faith.
Our Pre-K program builds on early learning by strengthening foundational academic and social skills that prepare students for kindergarten. Through engaging lessons, hands-on activities, and guided instruction, children develop early reading readiness, math concepts, problem-solving skills, and cooperative learning habits. At the same time, our Christ-centered approach helps students grow in character, compassion, and confidence as they learn to work independently and with others.
Our Kindergarten program provides a strong academic foundation while continuing to nurture the whole child. Students participate in structured lessons focused on literacy, math, critical thinking, and social development while learning in a supportive, faith-centered classroom environment. With small class sizes and personalized instruction, children build confidence, responsibility, and a love of learning that prepares them for continued academic success.
The Children’s Academy was founded in the fall of 2003. Our curriculum offers a highly academic and faith-based program for all of our preschool, pre-k and kindergarten classes. Our program instills a love of learning and a love for Jesus. We have dedicated and experienced teachers on staff who create fun and exciting learning opportunities for children of all abilities. Our school is located inside Tree City Church.
